From cousins, aunts, sisters, nieces, sisters in law, and friends, you could say I have many women in my family. Because of this, I have been to many different baby showers. However, I went to one recently that was absolutely gorgeous and brilliant.

They took brand new ideas for baby showers and really made something special. For example, while they brought gifts for the baby, they also brought gifts just for the mother. I thought this was pretty special, as the mother got some well deserved pampering!

One of the best ideas for baby showers was instead of making one large cake, they made tiny little cakes for each guest. There was also a game involved: A little plastic baby was baked into one of the cakes. Whoever got the baby won a prize!

To make things even more interesting, they used a bunch of different designs for each little cake. But one of my very favorite things about the baby shower was the decorations. You see, the mother decided not to find out what whether baby was a boy or girl, so they couldn't decorate with the typical pinks or blues.

Instead, cute little sayings like, "Mommy's Little Princess or Daddy's Little Quarterback?" were used to decorate the entire room. These sayings were on beautiful posters that they had printed out themselves. There were even footballs and princess crowns featured on the posters, too.

This baby shower was one of the best that I've been to, and they had some of the best ideas for baby showers that I've seen. If you want a unique idea, try one of those above. Most importantly, have lots of fun celebrating the upcoming arrival of your new bundle of joy!
