Shocking Childhood Obesity Factors

There is a growing trend going on of children with obesity, we know that in America overweight has become a huge problem and now our children are suffering from it, we have to do something about it, we have to educate our child and make sure that they are eating healthy food.

Experts say that there are different causes of childhood obesity, it can be an emotional problem, it could be genetic, lack of healthy food or lack of physical activities. But what is the real truth, lets see the facts.

Many people dont have ideas that in the last twenty years childhood obesity has doubled, but also in those years media has grown so much that our kids are exposed to more than 40,000 ads a year and thus media has a huge influence in them.

So, who is to blame? we cant say that parents or the media are responsible on their own, its a number of factors that have created an unhealthy lifestyle. But there is a lot that can be done to prevent it.

Now lets see some childhood obesity factors to understand a little bit better how to prevent this problem:

Dont let your child watch too much tv or play many hours of video games, they are wasting too much time doing nothing and sitting without moving eating snacks. This has to change, encourage sports with their friends, at home and in school.

Its important that you buy and cook nutritive food that your child can eat before going to school or in school.

You need to talk with your child at let him know of the dangers of junk food, encourage him to do activities like sports and dont let him stay in front of the tv for long time because they are being brainwashed with thousands of junk food ads.
